Darby Brown is an emerging writer and poet from Nashville, TN. She completed her MA in creative writing at the University of Birmingham in England and now lives in London where she continues to fall in love with the way words and stories can lead us toward a greater understanding of ourselves and the world around us. She has poetry published with Hey Young Writer and Manuscripts.
She is actively querying agents for her first completed manuscript, which is a poetry-prose hybrid novel.
Darby is passionate about books, movies, food (especially bread!), music, and coffee. She loves exploring, playing piano, saying hi to every dog she meets, and spending way too much time making fancy meals, especially those involving homemade pasta. She does not like (in no particular order) spiders, fungi, worrying about the future, how difficult it is to find wheat beer in the UK, or the terrifying possibility of forgetting. Her dream is to be a published author while also teaching creative writing where she can engage with her passion for community engagement, mentorship, and learning.
