New Poetry Published with HYW

I'm so excited to announce that I have two new poems published with Hey Young Writer!

The first is "A Walk Through the Forest," which is a fun and quirky absurdist poem that I started during a writing prompt in one of my MA classes. It was written at a time when I was feeling lonely and disoriented after moving to the UK and just questioning the decisions I'd made that brought me to where I was.

The second is "New Years." This one is about that strange feeling in early January of it being a new year, new beginnings, but also in the middle of winter - especially in London where somedays it's warm enough to get by with a jacket and the air really does smell (just a bit) like spring.
